Setting up a dynasty league is something I hope I never have to suffer through again.

We had several rounds of polling in place to make sure we covered all decisions that needed to take place. Here are the results:

First round

  4. Any other player nerf: No
  5. *Waiver system: FAAB
  6. *Roster size: 25-30
  7. *IR spots: Yes
  8. Taxi squad: No
  9. *League buy in: 50+
  10. Draft: Combine veterans & rookies (instead of separate drafts for each)
  11. Future pick trading: 3 years out
  12. Transaction fees: No
  13. Commissioner: Brad L
  14. Schedule: Set random every year

Second round

  1. Decimals: Two places (0.00)
  2. PPR: Half point
  3. *FAAB: No minimum
  4. *IR spots: 1-2
  5. *League buy in: $50-$59
  6. *Roster size: 25-27
  7. *Future draft pick trade fee: Yes

Third round

  1. FAAB budget: $100
  2. IR spots: 2
  3. League buy in: $50
  4. Roster size: 27
  5. Future draft pick fee: 50%

Kicker round

  1. Kicker vs no kicker: Tie (Because it tied, we needed to move to a 3 vote option to get a deciding vote)
  2. No kicker vs full point vs nerfed kicker: No kicker

Additional Rounds

  1. Playoff format: 6 teams, 1 week playoff in each round, 1 & 2 get first round bye
  2. Player fines (if a player is fined, owner of that player is also fined): yes – amount TBD
  3. Following year draft order: Of the 3 last place teams, the highest scoring team gets 1st pick in the following draft, 2nd highest gets 2nd pick, 3rd gets 3rd pick.
  4. League Platform: Fleaflicker
  5. Player fine fee: Less than $20
  6. Player fine fee: $10

FIRST WINNER BUYS TROPHY

Draft day order was decided by MLB opening day team scores. Teams were chosen based on home town. The highest scoring team would have first choice of draft pick, second highest run total had second pick and so on. If a team had the same amount of runs, the team with the better run differential got the higher pick. If the runs and run differential were the same, the team with more hits in the game got the higher pick.
