This is the only matchup of teams with the same record, which is the reason I’m spotlighting it. Look, Xavi should run away with this one. I like pretty much everyone on the squad but Brad has an outside chance with Jags vs Jets and Mixon vs Browns. The intramural champ will be the champ of this matchup.

Me vs Carey

The two most recent champs square up in the Zaddiest of matchups. Carey has some great matchups and I gotta be honest I love Wilson, Bell, Fitzgerald, Parker, Cook, AND Cohen this week. So for the first time ever, I’ll be picking against myself.

Make My Team Great Again vs Beth Mowin’s Voice Box
Brad L vs Brendan

I think this will be one of the lower scoring games of the week but Brendan has the opportunity to put Brad into a 0-4 hole. Neither team really has banner matchups except his Aj Green vs Browns. It will be on the backs of him and the draft’s biggest bust to push Brendan to victory and I think we see it. Brad needs to make his team great again for sure. May I suggest emboldening white supremacists and building a wall around it?

Weston vs Steven

I think this will actually be one of the higher scoring games. I love Cooks and Watkins this week and do subtly love Weston’s TE stream choice, too. I think he will win due mostly to better QB play. This would represent a 3-1 team and a 1-3 team, much more dramatic than 2 2-2’s. Steven, time to pray to that guy God you talk to.

I know that I admitted my bias for Tyler’s team last week, but come on. Zeke vs Rams and Shady vs Falcons? Give me all of that. He’s got Brees vs a team that got thwarted by the Jets and arguably the best defensive matchup of the week. It’s time to serve Andrew a slice of humble pie and register a big fat 1 in his loss column.

Tj’s running backs are worse than mine for sure. Once Jaquizz is gone, Steven is gonna have to introduce him to that God guy. And maybe his prayers will be answered in the form of a waiver wire pickup, but as it stands – this will be the last week I pick Tj’s sorry squad. Tj over Tyler, but folks – not by much.
