kareem celebration

( Kareem Hunt putting Carey’s Fantasy team to rest)

1. #BaDbOyChEeSe – This team has been dominant for the whole 2017 season and once Andrew Luck returns, it will be unstoppable! Kareem Hunt and Todd Gurley are the #1 and #2 rbs this so far in 2017 and it is not unrealistic to say that they will be top 5 Running backs at the end of the year. James White is also exceeding expectations and picking up the slack for the injury-riddled Patriots. The only weak link on this team right now is TY Hilton.

2. Weston Flakes – The only other undefeated team in the mix. Unfortunately for TJ is he has to play Andrew next week and his chances of winning are bleak. TJ’s wide receiver heavy team has some weapons. Julio and Odell have underperformed this year but will more than likely bounce back ( week 4 ).  The one thing that could cripple TJ is his lack of running backs.  Buck Allen was a good pickup, but Jaquizz will not be a starter in week 5.  Hopefully, Lamar Miller won’t lose his job because then TJ would really be in trouble. TJ does have some very tradeable depth that he should capitalize on.

3. #myteamgotnext . – Although Carey had absolutely no chance of winning going into his week 2 matchup, he does have a few capable running backs that will make him a threat every week. Another thing Carey can be optimistic about is Tarik Cohen.  A lot of people said he was an idiot for spending so much of his money in week one, he could have potentially picked up a solid RB2.

4. Evan(s) Stevens And the cupcake – Steven Had a big bounce-back week racking up 119 points this week which was only second to Andrew.  Although Steven’s running backs both had a good week, I do not think that is sustainable from CJ Anderson and TY Montgomery.  Steven may also want to consider picking up a new QB. Cam Newton decided he wanted to be a pocket passer this year and he is not nearly as valuable because of it.

5.  Dark Horse Yoffs – Tyler Lopes is coming off a tough loss this week.  Zeke had less than 10 yards rushing and the rest of his team didn’t fare too much better. Even though the Cowboys are mediocre ( and it really showed on Sunday ), this will likely be Zeke’s lowest scoring game of the season.  Once Snead comes back from suspension, Tyler will likely move up in the rankings.

6. Intermural Champ- This could be the year that Xavi makes the Yoffs.  That will likely depend on if Gronk can stay on the field and how good Chris Carson is. This is a team that does not have a weak spot,  but at the same time does not have a Superstar.

7. So LA – Tyler Berry lost a little steam this week.  Not quite sure he knows what IR stands for but his starters are pretty decent.  Jordy Nelson will be a big question mark going forward. Tyler has already shown he can be a dangerous fantasy team by smoking Weston week 1.  But like every Colin/ Tyler Berry team, Bye weeks and setting lineups will be his downfall.

8.Hopeless ROMOntic 2- Weston took my advice that I gave him in last weeks rankings and trade raped poor Xavi. Every year. Don’t know how it happens. This trade was technically vetoed so if Weston somehow does make the yoffs, it will be another year with an *. Besides that whole controversy, he does have a few good players on his team ( Antiono Brown, Tom Brady, Cook) but also is in some serious trouble if he is planning on relying on Abdoulah the whole season as his RB2.  He also might want to look at trading for a TE.

9 Beth Mowins’ Voice Box- Brendan told me at Boondocks that he was pissed at me for ranking him in the number 11 spot last week.  I told him to tell his team to play better.  He must have taken my advice as he squeaked out a win over Tyler Lopes.  Brendan’s team could surprise us but he will likely need to upgrade his Running backs. Jordan Howard looks awful, Powell is looking like a bust and Guilisee has looked decent but it is hard to rely on goal-line carries for points.

10. Make My Team Great Again – I think Brad will eventually win a game this year.  He had some bad luck with Murray going down but once Doug Martin is back, Brad’s team should get back on track. I also think that Hopkins is going to be good the rest of the season due to the absurd amount of targets he gets.  Brandon Marshall is trash and you should drop him.

12a. The Tom Hillier Experience –  David Johnson going down week one has basically been a death sentence for Tom.  Blount didn’t receive a single carry last week and Doug Baldwin and the Seahawks offense have looked awful.  His only hope to make it above 500 this season id for Aaron Rodgers to play out of his mind.

12b. Crook’s Trophy Shop- This team has been straight trash.  His only hope is to trade Bell for like 3 other players.  Olson going down certainly did not help him much either.  I will now name off his trash players.  Cousins trash. Pryor Sr trash. Williams trash. Jags D trash. Mixon trash. Davis trash. Ginn Jr trash. Conner trash. Golladay trash. Amendola trash* . Bengals D trash.
