Week 1 Power Rankings 

1.#BaDbOyChEeSe- Is it too early to start talking about the yoffs? Kareem Hunt is a true top 5 rb and what a steal to get him in the 5th round. Although he had 2 season ending injuries in week 1, he is still in prime position.  When Andrew Luck comes back, this will be maybe the most dangerous team of all time.

2.#myteamgotnext- A very solid running back combo. Second to only #BaDbOyChEeSe.  Carey’s team put up 94 points when Russel Wilson only put up 8.3 points. That is very impressive. His matchup next week with Andrew will more than likely be the game of the week and will be his first real test after facing a below average team fielded by Brad the Poop.

3.Weston Flakes- Could this be the year? He even traded Allen Robinson before he tore his ACL. Although TJ only put up 73.9 points, it was impressive to see him pull out a win with out 2 starters.  TJ should have an even better week next week as he will have Odell, Jacquizz, and Landry back.  He also has the best WR corps in the league.

4.So LA- Talk about a surprise. From drafting an injured Edelman in the 5th round of the draft ( and keeping him on his roster ) to destroying Weston in week 1.  Will he set his lineup every week? Does he know the new rules of the league? These are huge questions going into week 2 but for now, enjoy the glory of victory over a sub par team.

5.Dark Horse Yoffs- Perhaps we should be talking about the luck of Tyler with the news that Zeke will likely play all year.  Once he gets Sneed back he will have a very good team and could possibly make his first appearance in the yoffs. In a very Tyler move, He dropped Austin Hooper. He probably could have traded him for someone good.

6.The Tom Hillier Experience- Wanted to put this team lower but with the poor performances of several other teams this week, I couldn’t do that.  As a Cardinals fan, I am very sad that David Johnson will miss 2-3 months with a dislocated wrist.  As a fantasy football fan, I am glad Tom picked him first overall.  He still has a chance to make the yoffs, but that chance just got a whole lot smaller.

7.Crook’s Trophy Shop-  Brad W’s team is not horrible.  His receivers are trash though.  You can’t expect to go anywhere with Ted Ginn as your WR2.  Bell will bounce back but I can tell you as his owner last year, the Browns are always a trap team for him.  If Joe Mixon turns out to be as good as the hype(doubt it),  he might be able to salvage his team by trading for a WR.

8.Evan(s) Stevens And the cupcake- Tough week for Herzog.  First, the Hurricane benched his best player. Then he had to play Andrew who has the best team.  On top of that Steven has not won a week one matchup in 3 years!  It just wasn’t going to happen this week buddy.  Bryant might be the most disappointing player on his team. Big Ben hates him.  Also, you might want to get a TE.

9.”What Dakschund?”- Poor Brad.  I actually thought his team was decent heading into week 1.  Thankfully he had Randall Cobb on the bench who saw a massive amount of targets. Once he gets Doug Martin back he may be on the right track. He also should get a TE.

10.Hopeless ROMOntic 2- Lost to Tyler Berry who is still holding on to Edelman in hopes that his ACL will magically be fixed by the ACL fairy.  Ameer and Adrian are both trash. His only hope is to trade rape someone like he seems to do every year. Cook is good though, I’ll give him that.

11.Intramural Champ- Xavi may bounce back but his WR situation is not great.  I have never been a fan of Dez and Emmanual did not look great last night.  Cooper Kupp actually looked pretty good though on Sunday, even though it was a small sample size against a bad team.  Who knows, maybe he will find his way into the starting lineup.

12.Beth Mowins’ Voice Box- Brendan has never made the yoffs and it is not looking like he will this year either.  In typical Brendan fashion,  Thursday night started with him leaving 22.5 points on the bench while his defense mustered a total of -4.  At least Stafford looked good!
