Matchup of The Week: Brad “the poop” Williamson vs The Tom Hillier Experience

The fans have been CLAMORING. The biggest rivalry in not just fantasy football- but all of sports. That’s right – the Immediate Family Fantasy Football League Week 10 Triple Dipper bowl between Tom and Andrew. The graphic says it all. Andrew is looking to take the belt home for the very first time. As legend would have it, our projections are the closest of any matchup this week for this storied battle.

My prediction? A fourpeat. Let’s break it down Triple Dipper style (QB, WR, RB). At QB you’ve gotta go with Rodgers over Bortles, advantage me. Antonio Brown and DT vs Landry and Kelvin Benjamin, advantage me. My Terrance West and Jeremy Hill vs his Bell and Forte, let’s give it to him for the sake of pregame build up. What do I expect? Forte is slowed by LA, West should dominate Cleveland but Jeremy Hill will lift me from the depths of despair and pull Andrew down. Andrew has been known to blow Monday night leads and Hill is coming off of his bye. Should I not have the lead by then, I predict Hill to deliver a Monday night letdown to Andrew and Andrew to deliver a Triple Dipper to me.

Gonna have to give a big ol’ YIKES to Brad’s lineup. Colin’s matchups are far from foolproof, however. This will be Brad’s encore performance in the Snoozefest of the Week. This time, he will lose to Colin. As many frustrated Brandon Marshall owners gather the courage to finally bench him, he will score a touchdown. Colin wins.

Tj vs Tyler

Despite the projections projecting another snoozefest I don’t believe that to be the case. What a shock that Tj needs the Eagles to do well! I do think that he can pull off the victory because the Falcons are involved in plenty of shootouts and that means points for the Eagles. If Doug Martin plays, Tj will win. Without him, he is doomed to another loss as Russell Wilson continues to resurrect.

Team Janice Whartenby vs Chips n’ Gronk
Carey vs Xavi

Easiest pick of the week. It will be hilarious when I have to eat my words, but I’m giving Xavi 100+ points this week. Ajayi against a vulnerable run D while playing at a legendary pace, Diggs with a new OC who peppered him last week, Pryor against the Ravens who were exposed by OBJ and AB, and Hopkins against the Jags all lead me to believe Xavi will win. I like Rivers, Ingram, OBJ and LA this week, Carey, I really do, but it just won’t be enough when your supporting cast of characters pales in comparison to Xavi’s.

Cannot pick against David Johnson this week. Can Zeke match that performance? Maybe, but Weston would really need TY to be available this week to earn my pick. I’ll take DJ, Gronk, and Wallace against Cleveland. Weston will have to root against Dak to a degree and I’m sure that will be funny.

Josh Gordon Is Coming vs For The Luck of Tom(In my Head)
Steven vs Brendan

Steven’s projections are close even with an empty roster spot and we know I like his team. However, I will be picking the man who stole my luck this week. I do not like Steven’s matchups. It would be nice if he could pick up Pitta, but he plays tonight and is still on waivers. Chicago’s defense is better than most give them credit for and that hampers two very important players on Steven’s team. Brady plays Seattle, but I believe he can burst through his tough matchup and take Brendan and my luck to the paydirt.

 

The Triple Dipper bowl is definitely the biggest event in the USA this week. Maybe even the world. Andrew, I want Southwestern Eggrolls, Buffalo Chicken Bites, and Big Mouth Burger Bites. Thanks.
