Even after week 4, the league is still up for grabs. There are no teams left undefeated, and no teams left with no wins. The Bills won again, this time against the Brady-less Patriots and completely shut them out on the field and the scoreboard. They’re the best team in the NFL now. The Cardinals also had another rough loss, this time to a team in their division, and with Palmer dead, it’s not looking good for the future. Julio Jones is also the best receiver ever, and Ders will never get the chance to start him.
In the first match-up, Weston and Steven went in at 2-1 each, both looking to be at the top of the standings. Weston’s team “Andrew Pooped His Pants”, pooped their big boy pants as well this week against Steven’s team with the second lowest points scored. Jamaal Charles looks like he still needs some time to get right. He had two total touches on the game, but the fact that the Steelers dismantled them so quickly in the game may have attributed to the low touch total. Tuddy Gurley is having a rough year on the ground, and it’s looking like another rough week against the Bills this week. Also Melvin Gordon is the 2nd best running back in fantasy football on a bad San Diego team and is continuing to tear it up (6 touchdowns in 4 games this season compared to 0 in 16 games last year).
Xavi faced the undefeated Bradley Williamson, and Brad’s team might have literally been the worst we’ll ever see of any fantasy player of all time (41.3 points). Gronk got his first catch of the season, a 11 yarder, putting his total at 1.1 points in the first 4 games. I don’t doubt he’ll bounce back with Brady back. Brad had some really bad luck with injuries as well. Palmer is out with a concussion, Latavius Murray with some sort of toe thing, Blount with a hurt hip again, and the always injured Gronk of course. Meanwhile, Xavi survived a one catch 4 yard performance from DeAndre Hopkins to get the win and a share of 1st place.
Tom and Carey had a somewhat mediocre match-up. Tom somehow always wins games no matter how low he scores, but Carey squeezed out a win (Tom might’ve won had the Steelers been in a closer game since they didn’t really need to throw the ball to A. Brown anymore). Cleveland’s offense hasn’t been terrible actually, and Crowell is a beast running the ball. Coby Fleener also came back down to Earth with another disappointing performance after having a huge week last week.
Tyler Lopes started Matthew Stafford vs Chicago instead of Russell Wilson vs the Jets. Stafford, who usually would’ve been a solid play, only put up 8.2 points, but everyone else put up monster numbers, getting 125 points which was the the most in the league this week. Tyler is now leading the league in points for. Ders finally got Lev Bell back, rushing for 144 yards and 34 yards in the air. Once he starts getting in the endzone, he’s going to be unstoppable.

Colin, who started the season 0-3, took on a 2-1 TJ. TJ’s team had a total of ZERO POINTS on his bench. This weekend is going to be another rough one with bye weeks and even more injuries. Who can TJ drop to pick up some actual useful players? It was hard to win against Colin’s team when he had Julio Jones aka the best receiver in the NFL go for a casual 300 against the bad Panthers secondary. We still haven’t heard from Colin, but he does have a win now.

Last but not least, “Remember Tyler Berry” suffered a tragic loss to Brendan’s then 0-3 now 1-3 team. Brad’s team was up by about 48 points before Monday night’s game, but in typical Brad Lopes fantasy luck, Brendan’s two players scored 49 points. There is no safe place for this team, and no matter how many points are scored by his team, whoever he plays against will always have a better week. This isn’t an overreaction, it’s fact at this point with years of statistics to back it up. Kevin White is the latest receiver to be lost for the season (2015 – RIP Jordy, Edelman; 2016 – RIP Watkins, possibly Decker, and definitely Kevin White). It’s nearly impossible to lose when you have a single player score 35 points, but that’s exactly what happened to Brad’s team in each of the last two weeks. Brendan is now in the winning column, and will look to roll next week against Brad Williamson’s now broken team.
