1. Andrew Kissinger (Brad “The Poop” Williamson for evs) 2-0 – Not being biased here. My team right now is simply the best. I have the top 2 running backs as well as the number 1 receiver. Although I may have lost the Gronk trade with Woodhead going down to a torn acl, my team is still very solid and deep.
2. Brad Williamson (Crook’s Trophy Shop) 2-0 – Another very solid team with okay depth. His only downfall is that five of his starters are on two teams (Cardinals and Patriots). The annual rivalry match-up between me and Brad “The Poop“ Williamson may be a preview of the championship game.
3. Tom Hillier (The Tom Hillier Experience) 2-0 – This team reminds me of the 2010 Seahawks. They made the playoffs with a losing record and won their first game. Tom’s team currently is ranked 8th for most points scored and has the least amount of points scored on him by 40 points. He remains at number 3 for now, but once his schedule starts to get more difficult, don’t be surprised to see this team towards the bottom of the rankings.
4. Tyler Lopes (Charles Schwab Series 7) 1-1 – The Lopes brothers could easily be swapped out here at 4 and 5. The reason I have Tyler ranked ahead is because of the potential of Russell Wilson. Yes, he has played like shit but he will turn it around and start posting 20+ point games which will greatly help Tyler. Bye weeks will be a concern as Tyler’s team lacks depth.
5. Brad Lopes (Remembering Tyler Berry) 1-1 – Hitler had a nice moral victory this weekend as he handed Xavi his first loss. His love for rookies has paid off as Elliott and Fuller both have had over 10 points in the first two games. Matt Ryan is also putting up great numbers which more than likely will not last.
6. Steven Herzog (Josh Gordon is coming) 1-1 – Herzog had a good week against Colin and the more I look at his team, the more I believe. I am not a big Jeremy hill fan and think Gio is better, so I think he is making the right choice this week by starting Coleman. Stevens season is going to depend on if Gurley can wake up or not.
7. Carey Crooke (Team Janice Wartenby) 0-2 – Fresh off an ass whooping, The defending champ finds himself at 0-2. That seems to be a trend in our league as the defending champ usually has a shitty year. I do not think Crooke’s losing streak will continue though. He has a decent team and has played the top two guys in the league in the first two games. I do believe OBJ and Ingram will wake up and Carey will rebound.
8. Xavier De La Piedra (Chips n’ Gronk) 1-1– Xavi’s team has been very average to start the year. Luck had a great game week one, and a shitty game in week two. Xavi won his first game and lost his second. Notice a trend? One player that could be a game breaker is Stefon Diggs. He has looked explosive and with Bradford at qb, his value is much greater.
9. Weston Seidler (Andrew Pooped his Pants (didn’t really)) 1-1- Weston should have honestly stuck with the Vikings D as they carried his team last week. This week brought Weston flashbacks of his miserable season last year. I am also pretty sure he has tried to trade Cobb and Hilton for a running back to everyone in the league. He has no faith in Jennings or Abdullah. A bright spot for Weston is that Travis Benjamin looked great.
10. TJ Linnen – (NOMO ROMO) 1-1 – I actually feel bad for TJ as 4 of his 9 starters were hurt this weekend. Its going to be rough without Ertz, Martin, Foster and Rawls to win a game. At least the Eagles are 2-0.
11. Colin Apperson. (Colin A “missing” Person) 0-2 – Still missing. Still has not responded to my weekly Julio Jones text. Steven was very lucky to escape this week with a win. Colin probably would have won with a healthy Jonathon Stewart. But that is part of the game and hopefully Duke Johnson and Matt Jones can step up when Colin needs them.
12. Brendan Melander (Finger Friday)- 0-2 – AP is dead. Brendan’s mediocre team has been downgraded to a bad team. There is always next year Brendan. Just kidding. Brendan silently got a little lucky this weekend by having Sims and McKinnon on his bench. With both now taking the starting reps, he will have a competitive team.
