It’s overreaction Tuesday!

Most studs played like duds, everyone’s getting hurt, Weston is the worst again, the Vikings are legit, AP and Gurley are still huge busts.

We had some record low scoring matchups this past week.

The highly touted matchup between Tom and Weston turned out to be one of the worst performances by two teams in our brief league history. It seems like Tom really did get in Weston’s head this week. Weston’s team literally went from first to worst going from an impressive 133 point week one to a 55.9 week two which is no easy task. His best player – kicker Justin Tucker – outplayed Drew Brees with 15 points, and the rest of his team averaged 3.5 points each. In his defense, Jennings and Abdullah were both injured this week leaving him with an already injured Jamaal Charles and backup running back James White. Tom’s team wasn’t much better, but he got the easy win anyway (which is what happened last year and got him into the playoffs). Is Weston’s team going to bounce back this week against B. Lopes or is this a sign of things to come?

T.Lopes and Brenda squared off this week and another bad performance from Brendan’s first round pick hurt his chances at getting the win. Now that Adrian Pererson is injured, Brendan’s running back situation is looking a little cloudy. Brendan’s next matchup is crucial if he wants to avoid an 0-3 start and another lost season. Meanwhile, Tyler’s team put together a solid 100 point performance. If his team can stay consistent, he has a shot at a postseason run.

In this Goodyear matchup between Steven and Colin, it looked like Colin was going to get the win until Steven’s Sunday night players gave him a combined 24 points and the 6 point win. J Stewart left the game early and cost Colin the week to put him at 0-2 going into week 3. Will Colin remember to set his lineup this week to take Stewart out? We still haven’t heard from the man since the start of the season. Steven is getting some quality wins even with Gurley playing below expectations.

The Cardinals are the best and David Johnson and Palmer had another good game for Brad W’s team. Blount is looking like the steal of the draft as the Patriots have been using him non-stop with inexperienced quarterbacks heading that offense. TJ almost had as bad of a performance as Weston this week, but Derek Carr played well even with Rawls having -7 yards rushing. Will Brad get newly acquired Gronk back this week?

Ders is still unbearable confident in his team, and he has a right to be after annihilating Carey this weekend with a league high 139.8 points. Carey’s having a rough start to his season, but his team has been putting up solid points so he’ll rebound eventually. Odell hasn’t scored a touchdown this season yet which is pretty surprising, and Ingram isn’t getting used as much as we’ve expected but they’re both going to have good seasons when it’s all over. FFballers favorites Moncrief and Fleener both had terrible weeks too.

B.Lopes’ team played well enough this week to score the second most points this week with the help from free agent pick-up Matt Ryan after a bad week one. His rookies Elliot, Fuller and Shepard have all started the season scoring more than ten points each week, which he fully expected would happen. Xavi had Stefan Diggs score 24.2 points on his bench, but even he wouldn’t have helped get Xavi the win. Luck really sucked it up against the Denver defense, but that was expected as his offensive line can’t block for shit.
