Okay heeeeeerrrrrrrrreeeee we go, welcome back to football season. We held our draft, TJ, Carey and Steven whooped Andrew, Tyler and Colin in Volleyball, Tyler Berry didn’t show up. This is immediate family. This is fantasy football 2016.

This post has been broken up into 3 separate parts to provide a full, in-depth, player-by-player analysis of the members of our immediate family league and their 2016 rosters.

Let’s check out this year’s league member rosters:

1. Remember Tyler Berry

Owner: Brad Lopes

League Commissioner*

Let’s provide you with some background information. Brad ‘Hitler’ Lopes has been league commissioner the last three years of what we now know as the Immediate Family League. At first, he was commissioner by his own choice. Now we’ve realized that he may be the only member of the league trustworthy enough to hold the position without abusing his power so he’s stuck with commissioner status for the foreseeable future.

Brad is always one of the most tragic stories in our league. Always in the regular season champ, but always losing in the first round of the playoffs. Maybe this is the year he finally gets over the hill and secures the championship victory. We’ll see…

Draft Position: 5

Picks by round:

  1. Ezekiel Elliot
  2. Eddie Lacy
  3. Sammy Watkins
  4. CJ Anderson
  5. Eric Decker
  6. Derrick Henry
  7.  Sterling Shepard
  8. Tyrod Taylor
  9.  Kevin White
  10. Devontae Booker
  11. Tyler Boyd
  12. Chiefs D
  13. Graham Gano
  14. Terrance West
  15. Mohamed Sanu
  16. Zach Miller

This team looks stacked. A border line sure lock to be the best regular season team. But there’s a lot of rookies on this roster with no NFL experience. Will inexperience hinder their ability to perform in the clutch? Who knows how these rooks will adapt to the NFL game but we’ll soon find out.

2. The Tom Hillier experience

Owner: Tom Hillier

Tom is one of the few other members of the league that is an annual member of the prestigious playoff club. Tom actually likes his other league better with his friends in New Jersey, and likes to let everyone else in the league know. He’s been in discussions as a potential cut candidate if he keeps up his anti-league behavior, but only time will tell.

There are also rumors that Tom and Weston colluded in 2014 to keep another member from winning (Nothing has been verified but there may be some truth to it).

Draft position: 1

Picks by round:

  1. Antonio Brown
  2. Brandin Cooks
  3. Demaryius Thomas
  4. Jeremy Langford
  5. Aaron Rodgers
  6. Desean Jackson
  7. Delanie Walker
  8. Chris Ivory
  9. Justin Forsett
  10. Kamar Aiken
  11. Julius Thomas
  12. Corey Coleman
  13. Will Fuller
  14. Ka’deem Carey
  15. Rams D
  16. Brandon McManus

With the number one overall pick everyone was in shock when AP wasn’t drafted because Tom ran out of time and accidentally auto drafted Antonio Brown. Will the mistake ruin his play off chances or will this auto draft pay off? Only Joe Rogan knows.

He also went with a risky, potentially rewarding 3 WR strategy in the first three rounds, but left himself dangerously thin at running back. We’ll see how it pays off for him.

3. Chips and Gronk

Owner: Xavi de la Piedra

Chips and Gronk makes his much anticipated return after missing last year’s draft (and season) for an undisclosed reason. Some thought they might never see Xavi again, but he has the chance to make up for his lost year by being a more committed member of the immediate family in the upcoming year.

Draft Position: 10

Picks by round:

  1. DeAndre Hopkins
  2. Devonta Freeman
  3. Carlos Hyde
  4. Jordan Reed
  5. Andrew Luck
  6. John Brown
  7. T.J. Yeldon
  8. Stefon Diggs
  9. Jay Ajayi
  10. James Starks
  11. Steve Smith Sr.
  12. Kirk Cousins
  13. Packers D
  14. Blair Walsh
  15. Terrelle Pryor
  16. Bruce Ellington

The team looks solid. The kids still got it. But if Xavi doesn’t come around, the fantasy football gods will curse him and he will lose. Every week. Will Xavi hang out with us? We all hope so.

4. Swallowing the Cumpetition

Owner: Weston Seidler

Swallowing the Cumpetition is out for vengeance. The once league champ finished dead last this past season and he’s determined to not let it happen again (first to worst). This team really knows how to swallow. This man knows how to win. Will the cumpetition be swallowed? Will he return to championship form? the rest of the league hopes not.

Draft Position: 9

Picks by round:

  1. A.J. Green
  2. Jamaal Charles
  3. T.Y. Hilton
  4. Randall Cobb
  5. Drew Brees
  6. Rashad Jennings
  7. Ameer Abdullah
  8. Travis Kelce
  9. James White
  10. Michael Thomas
  11. Marcus Mariota
  12. Travis Benjamin
  13. Justin Tucker
  14. Vikings D
  15. C.J. Spiller
  16. Kenny Stills

Will jamaal be injured all season? Does Jennings have a bounce back year? Does T.Y. become elite? A lot of question marks on this roster.

Will be continued in part 2…
